Skelementor LLC ("Skelementor", "we", "us", or "our") is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@skelementor.com.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, profile details, team membership, and communication preferences.
- Purchases and subscriptions: plan, billing status, transaction identifiers, and related support records. Payment card details are handled by Stripe or Lemon Squeezy rather than stored by us.
- Service activity: components viewed, copied, downloaded, or saved; searches; collections; feature usage; and usage limits required to provide the service.
- Technical information: browser and device details, approximate location, IP-derived security information, request logs, and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service.
- Affiliate referral information: when a visitor arrives through an affiliate link, the referring affiliate, referral identifier, attribution window, and eligible purchase or commission status.
- Information you send us: contact requests, support messages, testimonials, feedback, and other content you choose to submit.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights by default to understand page usage and performance. These services do not set analytics cookies. They may include page paths, referrers, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate location, and Web Vitals.
We also use Google Analytics and PostHog for optional analytics. In the EU, EEA, and UK, we do not enable these optional analytics until this browser grants consent. Outside those regions, including when we cannot determine your country, optional analytics are enabled by default unless you opt out. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out for optional analytics.
PostHog receives an opaque account identifier after a consenting user signs in, or after a signed-in user is in a default-on region and has not opted out, but we do not send names or email addresses as analytics user properties. Session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled. Search analytics records query length and result metadata, not the raw search text.
Affiliate Attribution
Rewardful uses a first-party referral cookie for up to 60 days to support our affiliate partner program. It applies first-touch attribution and connects eligible Stripe purchases to the affiliate who referred the customer. Rewardful is active in every region and is not controlled by the optional analytics setting. Trials and Team plans are not currently eligible for affiliate commission.
How We Use Information
- Provide accounts, components, search, collections, teams, and billing.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and secure the service.
- Respond to requests and send service communications.
- Send newsletters or promotional email when you have requested them.
- Measure and improve the service through Vercel analytics and, where allowed, optional analytics.
- Attribute eligible purchases and administer affiliate commissions.
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, legitimate interests, or your consent. You can withdraw optional analytics consent at any time without losing access to the service.
Service Providers
We use service providers to run Skelementor, including Vercel for hosting and performance analytics, Supabase for authentication and data services, Google for sign-in and optional analytics, PostHog for optional product analytics, Typesense for search, Groq for user-requested natural-language search parsing, Stripe and Lemon Squeezy for payments, and Brevo and Mailgun for communications, and Rewardful for affiliate attribution and commission records. They process information under their own terms and our agreements with them. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and Browser Storage
Essential storage supports authentication, security, requested features, and your privacy choice. We use Vercel-provided IP country information to decide whether optional analytics starts as opt-in or default-on for this browser. The resulting consent mode and any browser choice are browser-specific, last up to 60 days, and can be changed through any Cookie preferences control. Details are available in our Cookie Policy.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including providing an active account, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and provider. Browser analytics identifiers are configured not to outlive the 60-day consent period. Deleting an account does not require us to delete records that must be retained for legal, tax, security, or dispute purposes.
International Transfers
Our providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect information transferred internationally.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity first.
Children
Skelementor is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material analytics changes will invalidate the existing browser choice and request fresh consent. Questions or complaints can be sent to support@skelementor.com.
