Role Purpose

Skelementor is looking for a detail-oriented Product Designer with strong UI/UX expertise to create thoughtful, polished, and consistent experiences for the Skelementor application, WordPress plugin, marketing pages, and products across our wider ecosystem.

Designing beyond a single product

You will work across the Skelementor web application, WordPress plugin, and other products in our ecosystem. Each surface has different technical constraints and user contexts, but they should feel like parts of one clear, consistent, and dependable experience.

What You'll Do

Skelementor Application Design

  • Design intuitive end-to-end experiences for the Skelementor web application, from early concepts and user flows to polished production-ready interfaces.
  • Create clear workflows for discovering, previewing, organizing, customizing, and using Skelementor components and templates.
  • Translate product requirements and user needs into information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Improve existing application experiences by identifying usability issues, visual inconsistencies, and unnecessary complexity.
  • Design empty, loading, error, success, onboarding, and edge-case states so complete workflows are represented before development begins.
  • Ensure application interfaces work effectively across relevant desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

WordPress Plugin Design

  • Design the Skelementor WordPress plugin experience, including setup, authentication, browsing, filtering, importing, preferences, notifications, and account-related workflows.
  • Create interfaces that feel clear and familiar within WordPress while still expressing the Skelementor product identity.
  • Account for WordPress conventions, technical limitations, different admin environments, and the needs of Elementor users.
  • Work closely with developers to simplify complex plugin behaviour and define practical interaction patterns.
  • Review implemented plugin interfaces and provide precise feedback on layout, states, interactions, accessibility, and visual quality.

Marketing Page Design

  • Design high-quality marketing pages, landing pages, product pages, pricing pages, and campaign experiences for Skelementor and products across our ecosystem.
  • Translate campaign goals, product positioning, and content requirements into clear, persuasive page structures and polished visual designs.
  • Create strong visual hierarchy, storytelling, calls to action, and conversion-focused user journeys without compromising clarity or brand consistency.
  • Design reusable marketing-page sections and patterns that allow the team to create new pages efficiently while maintaining a consistent visual system.
  • Ensure every page is thoughtfully designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile, with careful attention to typography, spacing, imagery, interactions, accessibility, and performance considerations.
  • Collaborate with marketers, copywriters, developers, and other stakeholders from initial concept through implementation and final quality review.

Ecosystem Product Design

  • Design interfaces and user journeys for other tools, integrations, internal systems, and digital products within the Skelementor ecosystem.
  • Create shared patterns that make it easier for users to move between products without relearning common actions.
  • Adapt experiences thoughtfully to each platform instead of applying the same layout to every surface.
  • Help define how new ecosystem products connect to existing accounts, subscriptions, content, and workflows.
  • Maintain a cohesive visual and interaction language across customer-facing and internal product experiences.

User Experience & Product Thinking

  • Understand product goals, user problems, technical constraints, and business requirements before proposing design solutions.
  • Map user journeys, task flows, navigation structures, and interaction states for new and existing features.
  • Use customer feedback, support conversations, product data, and usability findings to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prototype and validate important workflows before the team commits to full implementation.
  • Make thoughtful decisions when requirements are incomplete and explain the reasoning and trade-offs behind them.
  • Balance simplicity, discoverability, accessibility, brand expression, and implementation effort.

Design System & Figma Library Management

  • Create, maintain, and evolve Skelementor's product design system in Figma.
  • Build reusable components, variants, variables, styles, tokens, patterns, and responsive layouts that support multiple products.
  • Organize Figma files, pages, libraries, branches, and documentation so the wider team can find and use assets reliably.
  • Define consistent standards for typography, color, spacing, grids, iconography, controls, feedback, and interaction states.
  • Keep design-system components aligned with their implemented counterparts and flag gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Design new patterns when needed while avoiding unnecessary one-off solutions and duplicate components.

Developer Handoff & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare implementation-ready designs with complete states, responsive behaviour, interaction details, content guidance, and clear specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers early to understand constraints, answer questions, and find solutions that preserve the user experience.
  • Review work in progress across browsers, screen sizes, and product environments to ensure the implementation matches the intended design.
  • Document design decisions and acceptance criteria for complex or reusable patterns.
  • Identify and prioritize visual, usability, consistency, and accessibility issues before release.
  • Follow features through implementation and refinement rather than treating handoff as the end of the design process.

Collaboration & Workflow Improvement

  • Collaborate with founders, product stakeholders, developers, component designers, marketers, and support team members.
  • Communicate progress, decisions, open questions, dependencies, and blockers clearly and early.
  • Present design work with clear rationale and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Manage multiple product-design priorities without losing attention to detail or consistency.
  • Help establish practical research, design-review, handoff, documentation, and quality-assurance workflows.
  • Take ownership of assigned experiences from problem definition through final implementation review.

Portfolio Expectations

Candidates should provide examples of

  • SaaS applications, dashboards, plugins, web apps, or other complex digital products.
  • End-to-end case studies that explain the problem, process, decisions, trade-offs, and final outcome.
  • User flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
  • Responsive product experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Reusable component libraries or design systems created and maintained in Figma.
  • Thoughtful handling of navigation, forms, tables, filters, settings, onboarding, and interface states.
  • Evidence of close collaboration with developers and attention to implementation quality.
