Role Purpose

Skelementor is looking for a detail-oriented Frontend Page Builder Developer to create polished, responsive, and reusable Elementor sections and templates for the Skelementor component library.

What You'll Do

Elementor Component & Template Development

  • Build high-quality website sections, landing-page blocks, and complete page templates using Elementor.
  • Translate design references, wireframes, concepts, and visual inspiration into polished Elementor components.
  • Create components that are reusable, easy to customize, and suitable for different website industries and use cases.
  • Ensure every component works properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Use Elementor containers, responsive controls, global settings, interactions, custom CSS, and other relevant features effectively.
  • Test components thoroughly before they are added to the Skelementor library.

Component Library Management

  • Organize components using clear names, categories, collections, tags, and internal standards.
  • Maintain consistency across component structure, spacing, typography, styling, and responsive behaviour.
  • Review existing components and improve outdated, inconsistent, or poorly structured work.
  • Test component import, export, copying, and pasting to ensure users receive a reliable experience.
  • Identify duplicate or unnecessary components and help keep the library clean and manageable.
  • Document important component behaviour, setup requirements, and limitations when necessary.

Figma Component Design & Library Management

  • Use Figma to design new website sections, page templates, and reusable components before developing them in Elementor.
  • Work with Skelementor's existing Figma component library and follow its design system, structure, naming conventions, and visual standards.
  • Create, update, organize, and maintain reusable Figma components, variants, styles, and templates.
  • Ensure Figma designs accurately represent how components will behave across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain consistency between the Figma component library and the published Skelementor Elementor library.
  • Organize Figma files, pages, sections, components, variants, and documentation so assets are easy for the wider team to find and use.
  • Improve existing Figma components when spacing, typography, hierarchy, responsiveness, or structure needs refinement.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure components can be translated efficiently from Figma into functional Elementor sections.
  • Prepare component previews, specifications, and supporting design assets required for Weekly Drops.
  • Help expand and maintain Skelementor's Figma library as the component collection grows.

Weekly Drop Planning & Execution

  • Research relevant design trends, website examples, industries, and creative directions for future Weekly Drops.
  • Propose themes and component ideas that are useful, visually cohesive, and relevant to Skelementor users.
  • Help plan each Weekly Drop from initial concept and inspiration to development, quality assurance, and final delivery.
  • Build and organize the components included in each Weekly Drop.
  • Maintain a consistent production schedule and ensure Weekly Drops are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with designers, marketers, and content creators responsible for launch graphics, previews, emails, and promotional materials.

Front-End Design Quality

  • Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, alignment, and layout principles.
  • Follow clean and consistent design systems rather than styling every component independently.
  • Maintain suitable gap systems, section spacing, content widths, and visual rhythm throughout each design.
  • Ensure content remains legible, accessible, and visually balanced across different screen sizes.
  • Make thoughtful design decisions when references or requirements are not fully defined.
  • Balance creative visual ideas with usability, performance, and practical website-building requirements.

Front-End Development & Technical Problem-Solving

  • Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when Elementor's standard controls are not sufficient.
  • Write clean custom CSS for layouts, responsive behaviour, animations, interactions, and visual refinements.
  • Troubleshoot Elementor, WordPress, browser, and responsive-layout issues.
  • Identify CSS conflicts, inconsistent styles, broken layouts, and unnecessary complexity.
  • Build components efficiently without relying on excessive widgets, duplicated settings, or avoidable custom code.
  • Help improve the technical standards and workflows used to create Skelementor components.

Collaboration & Workflow Improvement

  • Collaborate with founders, component designers, brand designers, developers, and marketers.
  • Communicate progress, questions, technical limitations, and blockers clearly and early.
  • Accept feedback constructively and revise components until they meet Skelementor's quality standards.
  • Manage multiple components and Weekly Drop responsibilities without compromising quality.
  • Help establish reusable workflows, checklists, naming conventions, and quality-assurance processes.
  • Take ownership of assigned components from initial inspiration through final publication.

Portfolio Expectations

Candidates should provide examples of

  • Elementor or Webflow websites.
  • Landing pages, website sections, and templates.
  • Reusable component systems.
  • Responsive execution across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Clean spacing, typography, and consistent visual systems.
  • Variety across industries and design styles.
  • The ability to convert inspiration or designs into functional web components.

What We Value

Taking Ownership

You take responsibility for the final outcome, review your own work carefully, solve problems proactively, and maintain a consistently high standard.

Having Agency

You can move work forward when every detail has not been defined by researching references, asking useful questions, and proposing practical solutions.

Maintaining Constant Communication

You share progress, decisions, questions, blockers, and potential delays early so the team can stay aligned.

Skills, Expertise & Tools

WordPress & Elementor Expertise

You have practical experience building responsive websites with Elementor containers, widgets, global styles, responsive settings, templates, custom CSS, and reusable website sections.

Front-End Development Skills

You are proficient in HTML and CSS, have a practical understanding of JavaScript, and understand modern layout techniques such as Flexbox and CSS Grid.

Visual Design & Design-System Knowledge

You understand typography, hierarchy, color, spacing, alignment, composition, legibility, responsive design, and how to follow established design systems.

Research & Creative Judgment

You can find useful inspiration without directly copying, identify why a layout works, and reinterpret ideas into original Skelementor components.

Tools & Hands-On Execution

You are comfortable with WordPress, Elementor Pro, Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser developer tools, responsive testing, team communication tools, and basic Git or GitHub workflows where required.

Visual Builder Experience

Experience with Webflow or another visual website builder is a strong advantage because it shows familiarity with visual development and responsive component systems.
